Location Is Everything. Or Is It?

Communication the bridges any location.

They say location is everything and distance is only good for making the heart grow fonder. Fortunately, the Internet has made long distances a lot shorter. The world is a much smaller place these days.

Skystorm Productions has taken full advantage of the digital age and provides the right tools to bridge the distance gap between itself and its clients.

By utilizing a wide variety of communication tools like live video feeds, online editing software, and cloud-based computing, Skystorm is able to have open dialog with clients about their thoughts and ideas throughout the entire video production process. A remote production process that doesn’t feel the effects of distance.

“From casting to final approvals, our clients are there every step of the way,” says Rocky Mackey, Production Coordinator for Skystorm. “We hold a live casting session and create a casting video with all the top selections, so the client can choose the talent they want whether they’re in the studio or 5,000 miles away.”

The open communication continues into production where Skystorm offers live video feeds during shoots to put clients “on set” no matter where they are. Even during the editing process, Skystorm communicates with clients openly by using Proof HQ, an advanced online video-editing tool, which allows clients to view their production in progress and leave comments and suggest changes for the editors.

Even with a full suite of technology, perhaps Skystorm’s greatest asset is the staff. “Our producers and editors are highly dedicated to their work,” says Alex Sivers, Executive Producer for Skystorm. “Our production team is full-time, unlike many other production companies who hire freelancers project-by-project.  Our staff develops lasting relationships with clients by knowing them well, and forecasting their concerns.”

Skystorm Productions has over 15 years experience producing high-quality video, both in the Orlando, Florida area and across the United States.
